Before that handsome hero face ends up on Jumbotron screens in all your red and blue glory, we need to make sure that there is nothing handsome or heroic about Clark Kent.

I don’t do too well with fortune tellers.

Remember season 8? How it started and it was the most amazing thing ever and we were all dying over it? And then they ruined it and it was a mess until it picked up at the end? And then season 9 came along and it was actually perfect? And then we had all 22 episodes of Durance and we were all dying and excited and then she knew and the future was helicopters and lust and they got together and they had sex and he proposed and they were getting married, and Jimmy was back, and everything was Clois and nothing hurt? And now it’s over, and I miss them :(

The D.A. says that a true hero would come forward. Well, The Blur can’t. It’s because he knows that the best way for him to protect you and me is to steer clear of all this political hoopla and remain the one thing that you and I need most — a light in the darkness, a symbol for us to believe in when all other hope is lost. I’ve looked into The Blur’s heart, and I can tell you that his intentions are good. Let The Blur be the hero he needs to be.

I legit hyperventilated at the end of this episode. My evens could not.
